Call for Papers: Special Issue on The Contemporaneity of Built Heritage

IJAR is inviting submissions for a special issue on The Contemporaneity of Built Heritage intended for March 2015. The issue is centered on the relevance of heritage to contemporary cities and societies. Examples of topics include:

  • Assessing Interventions of Urban Heritage
  • Growth aspects of Heritage Districts
  • Heritage, Legislations, and Aspects of Governance
  • Teaching and Design Pedagogy Addressing Historic Districts
  • Typological Analysis and Socio-Spatial Practice in Historic Public Spaces
  • Socio-Cultural Aspects of Heritage Conservation
  • Economic Sustainability of the Built Heritage Environmental Sustainability and Urban Heritage

For full considerations papers must be submitted before September 30, 2014. The publication date is March 15, 2015.
